Love is a very strong emotion of affection and attachment representing human kindness and affection.
Such a small word with huge meaning. Some people find it so easy to say -
"I love going to Tenerife on holiday",
"I love your dress",
"I just love your shoes",
"The dinner was delicious, I love roast beef"
"Oh I love her, she's so funny"...etc, etc
The word just rolls off the tongue. Can you love a dress or shoes - you can admire them, how they're made, the material. A pretty dress or pair of shoes can make you smile - but love them? You can enjoy going somewhere on holiday but do you love it? A roast beef dinner is delicious but can you love a dinner or any food?
I guess all these things evoke an emotion within us - the warm feeling a roast dinner gives, the satisfaction or perhaps childhood memories of family Sunday dinners. The love of a holiday destination - on holiday you certainly feel more relaxed, the warm sun, a gentle breeze - you're unwinding and taking it easy. What a wonderful feeling - no wonder someone can fall in love with a destination.
And how about loving someone you hardly know because they are funny or attractive ? Again, it's the emotions these people bring to - you will warm to someone that makes you smile or laugh whilst attractive and pretty things will bring a glow.
